Join Christina at Kimpton Farms for an intensive 3.5–4 hour hands-on, in-person sourdough workshop where you’ll learn how to confidently bake delicious sourdough bread from scratch. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned baker, this class is designed for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of sourdough and gain hands-on experience at every key stage of the process. This class includes: • Live instruction, demonstrations, and guided hands-on learning • Kimpton Farms sourdough e-book • Dehydrated sourdough starter “Delilah” • Starter kit: banneton, bench scraper, and scoring lame • In-person instruction on sourdough, starters, fermentation, shaping, scoring, and baking • Light refreshments and fresh sourdough samples What makes this workshop different: This workshop is designed to walk you through all stages of the sourdough process. Because sourdough naturally unfolds over multiple days, the class is structured to showcase each step through a combination of hands-on practice and live demonstrations, allowing you to see how the process connects from start to finish. Students will actively participate in key stages of baking, observe the process in real time, and leave with a clear understanding of how to confidently recreate sourdough at home. Class size is intentionally kept small to allow for questions, troubleshooting, and individual guidance. At Kimpton Farms, we offer fresh, organic sourdough bread and other baked goods in Horse Town USA, Norco, CA. All of our bread is long-fermented with wild yeast starter “Delilah,” naturally leavened for optimal nutrition and gut-friendly digestion.
